1 1/2 cups white flour
1/2 cup oat bran
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup powdered milk
2 tbsp shortening
1 tsp salt
1 cup malted barley
1/2 cup quinoa flour
approx. 1/2 cup warm water - enough to make moist dough.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Mix shortening into all dry ingredients and blend until a corn meal consistency is reached.
Add water and stir well.
Knead prepared dough on a floured board for five minutes, then cut into 4 equal parts.
Roll each piece thin and cut into desired shapes.
Bake for six to eight minutes or until light brown, then cool and store in an airtight container for serving.
